Corporate Partner Program

Parks are a reason that people live, work, and play here in Westchester

We invite you, as a local business, to partner with us in the opportunity to preserve one of Westchester’s greatest assets, our park system. We will plan a tailor-made project for your organization to make a difference in the Westchester County Parks. Utilize this time and experience to build your team, increase morale, while providing a valuable service to the park system that continually is here for us. You  can choose to have a one-day project, a project that spans a few days, or one you return to until it is completed.

The work in our county park system is continuous. As a corporate partner your donation goes directly toward preserving and maintaining restoration projects and keeps our parks beautiful and accessible for all community members. Your support helps provide a clean, safe environment in our communities and improves the lives of your employees and customers.  Join us, so your business can increase our impact. We can’t do it without you!

Corporate Partners are a vital part of our volunteer program. Your business will:

• Utilize the time away from the office to strengthen your team

• Change the way employees think by engaging in projects together

• Leverage your employees’ skills and talents to make a difference in the community

• Help us to preserve and maintain one of Westchester’s most valuable assets, our
incomparable park system

To become a Corporate Partner, please contact our Manager of Volunteer Programs Mary Benjamin at mbenjamin@thewpf.org or 914-231-4600

Clean River Project Sponsored by Pepsico:
Biweekly cleanups take place May-November with the goal of addressing floatable trash, one of the three major water quality issues in the Bronx River. Since our project launch in 2018, volunteers removed and cataloged 32,087 items of trash from the Bronx River.

Lake Revitalization Sponsored by Xylem and GA Fleet: Along with a mechanical harvester, volunteers in canoes enter the lake at Tibbetts Brook Park every summer to manage the invasive aquatic plant, Water Chestnut (trapa natans) in an effort to bring aquatic recreation back to Yonkers’ largest County park.

Adopt-A-Park: Corporate volunteers choose a park to sponsor and focus on a tangible improvement to the park that will enhance the visitor experience.
