With your help we can provide clean water for the return of native species, the use of the lake for recreation, and overall enhancement to the quality of life for our Westchester community members!
Greenterns
Remove Water Chestnut through hand-pulling in canoes and on land
Learn about invasive species and the work being done to address them
Meet other students and community members interested in caring for our environment

Environmental Stewards
For students particularly interested in conservation

Conduct park surveys and environmental field work
Gain hands-on work experience addressing priorities within parks
Opportunity to lead community volunteer days and educate volunteers about our work
All training will be provided and no experience is necessary. Orientation June 26, 27, 28
Internship: July 2-19
Location:
Tuesdays: Various parks around Westchester
Wed-Fri: Tibbetts Brook Park, Yonkers
