Each April, Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department host Pitch In For Parks, the largest County-wide volunteer program surrounding Earth Day. This year it will be held April 22-26. Volunteers at Glen Island Park will be helping to clean the park for spring; this could include clearing litter and debris from the beach, weeding gardens or playground areas, or raking. No experience is necessary. Volunteers may attend at any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please sign up below before the project and check in upon arrival.
