Bronx River Blitz - Clean Up The Pathway

Join us in our adventure to clean up all 13 miles of the Bronx River Reservation! Sign up as a team or an individual!

To welcome the spring season, Westchester Parks Foundation is holding the Bronx River Blitz. This will be the first time the entire Bronx River Reservation pathway will be cleaned in one day.

The Bronx River Reservation is home to native plants and extraordinary wildlife. By removing litter, we will improve the ecology and health of this important habitat.

To register your group as a team, email Mary Benjamin at mbenjamin@thewpf.org. Your team can be from a local organization, your office, school, gym, religious institution, or a group of friends and neighbors!

If you are an individual, please register for one of the community teams here, and join other individuals in your area!

Each team will be assigned a segment of the pathway. At the end of the cleanup, litter will be weighed and there will be prizes for the team that collected the most!

All supplies will be provided but please bring your own water. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes.

Contact volunteer@thewpf.org with questions.
