Volunteers needed to assist in this year's Westchester County Envirothon for local high schools!

Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation and Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District are organizing the second annual Westchester County Regional Envirothon for Westchester County schools on May 12th at Sal J. Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park in North Salem.

Westchester Parks Foundation is seeking volunteers to help with registration, judging, scoring tests, and orienting attendees from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. No experience is necessary and lunch will be provided. Camping available on-site the night of 5/11.

This is perfect volunteer opportunity if you are someone who wants to give back to the community while meeting others with a passion for the environment. While we are seeking judges and test administrators with a background or interest in environmental issues, volunteers with less experience are welcome as there are a variety of tasks to help with.

If you are interested in being a volunteer, you must register here and you will be contacted by a member of the WPF staff to go over day-of details. Deadline to register is April 24, 2023. There will be a virtual orientation prior to the event.
