Native Plant Identification Walk

Are you a returning volunteer who would like more knowledge of our parks?

This event is the third in our Volunteer Enrichment Series! These events are designed for individuals who have volunteered with WPF in the past and are looking to gain a deeper understanding about our parks. This month's event will be a walk through the woods and meadows at Kitchawan Preserve to find and appreciate native plants. Participants will also learn how to use wildflower and tree field guides as we identify what we find.

Please bring your own water. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes.

Registered volunteers will receive an email with location details and an insurance waiver 1 day before the event. Please add volunteer@thewpf.org to your address book to ensure you receive this information.

For last-minute signups or if you do not receive our email, please call our office at (914) 231-4600 or email volunteer@thewpf.org
