Trails Without Limits Info Session

Join us for a short Zoom informational session about how you can volunteer with our new Trails Without Limits program

Westchester Parks Foundation is launching the first ever Adaptive Hike Program within Westchester County Parks which will provide equitable access to nature for community members. We have purchased two (2) trail capable All-Terrain Trackchairs for individuals to reserve at no cost throughout specific parks. The program will allow individuals living with spinal cord injury, amputation, paraplegia, are elderly, or have other disabilities the opportunity to immerse themselves in our trail system as any other able-bodied individual. This program will also offer caregivers the ability to continue their fitness goals, create a unique space to build relationships, and increase the physical and mental wellbeing of our community.

We are in need of volunteers and interns to help this program run successfully. If you are interested in learning more, come to this free online information session where we will discuss the details of the program, what we're looking for from volunteers, and how you can start getting involved! No commitment required to attend, we are just here to answer questions.

A Zoom link will be sent to those who register.
